  Choosing your shutter size: Measure your windows carefully.  Pay special attention to the exact fit you desire. In most cases, the height that is most appropriate is from the top of the window opening to the bottom of the window opening.  In choosing the width of your shutters, take into consideration the width of the window and the distance that they are spaced apart.  Generally, it is best to find a single width that works for all your windows.
